About me

I’m a psychotherapist who helps people impacted by trauma, perinatal/parenting stressors, or difficult life stages. I work with adults, parents, co-parents, couples and families. People who need a partner to help shift the weight of their worries. Often there’s emotional, financial, work, school, legal or relationship chaos, especially when there’s a history of instability in the family ecosystem.

People feel so alone … and that shame makes it feel like no one could possibly untangle their predicament. I help lighten the burden.

I provide education and skills to help you recover your authentic wellness. I help families get on the same page and make a plan. With hope and a plan, we create new experiences. Together, we uncover confidence and improve your sense of feeling centered, accepted and focused on your values.

Professional mental health, trauma & addictions counseling

I’m glad you are reaching out to support your wellness … and your instinct that there is a path to feeling better. Counseling is as simple (and awe inspiring) as showing up for yourself and letting honesty and willingness come in the room with you. Counseling is the shared practice of sustaining contact with the present moment. Calm listening honors the difficult thought, emotion, and somatic (body) talk that is present throughout our day, week, lifetime of (mis)adventures.

The practice of recovery is a journey to recalibrating what behaviors, relationships, and tools are helpful to you right now. Counseling services provide professional guidance and feedback about the methods and practices that have the best results for your individual circumstances.
