Professional mental health, trauma & addictions counseling

I’m glad you are reaching out to support your wellness … and your instinct that there is a path to feeling better. Counseling is as simple (and awe inspiring) as showing up for yourself and letting honesty and willingness come in the room with you. Counseling is the shared practice of sustaining contact with the present moment. Calm listening honors the difficult thought, emotion, and somatic (body) talk that is present throughout our day, week, lifetime of (mis)adventures.

The practice of recovery is a journey to recalibrating what behaviors, relationships, and tools are helpful to you right now. Counseling services provide professional guidance and feedback about the methods and practices that have the best results for your individual circumstances.

Now accepting new clients!

How to get started:

I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation and welcome you to get on my calendar to drop by the office or we can meet over the phone. Select the orange “Request Appointment” button for a time that works for you. Email me to suggest an alternate time.

Counseling and consultation fees:

Most clients access services at the standard rate of $90 per 50-minute individual therapy session. I offer limited extended hours – usually in the early AM – for an additional $10/session to support work schedules.

During times of acute crisis or stabilization, we may agree to add on a 30-minute phone session or extend your therapy time for $50.

I have limited sliding scale availability. Please ask if you are underinsured or impacted by financial hardship.

I provide couple and family counseling at $120 per 80-minute session. Typically, these time slots are for partners whose relationship has been impacted by addiction (i.e. you and/or a loved one is actively using or already in recovery and need relationship counseling). I am LGBTQIA and poly-affirming. I also appreciate working with families who have teens, emerging adults and supporting adult children who are caring for their own parents.

Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check or card. I use Simple Practice software to manage a HIPAA compliant paperless office with ease of secure payment and contact.
